Lahore Qalandars have won the last five clashes with Peshawar Zalmi

Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi meet in 30and and the last game of the league phase of PSL 2022 February 21st, 2022 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The Qalandars have never won the trophy as they finished runners-up in the 2020 edition.

The Zalmi won the title once in 2017 and finished runners-up three times in 2018, 2009 and 2021. Speaking of the current season, both teams have already qualified for the Play-Offs. In terms of head-to-head record in PSL history, the two teams have faced each other in 14 matches, with Lahore winning six and Peshawar snatching eight wins.

In matches between these teams, Kamran Akmal leads the standings with 319 runs followed by Fakhar Zaman (259) and Mohammad Hafeez (246). Akmal also has the highest score of 107* when the two teams met. In terms of wickets, Shaheen Afridi and Wahab Riaz both took 15 scalps each followed by Hasan Ali (13) and David Wiese (9).

Last meeting:

The last time the two teams met was on February 2 in the ninth match of the current PSL season at the National Stadium in Karachi. The Qalandars struck first and apart from David Wiese who ducked, every batter contributed to help the team post 199/4. In response, Kamran Akmal and Haider Ali scored 41 and 49 runs respectively, but Zaman Khan took three, and Shaheen Afridi and Wiese took two wickets each to win the clash by 29 runs for the Qalandars.
