Shreveport – The Centennial Men’s Basketball team made history Wednesday night as the hot-shooting Gents broke a program record 22 three-pointers en route to a dominant 105-69 victory over the University of the Southwest Pirates in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game at the Gold Dome.

The Gents improved to 7-6 overall and 3-3 in the SCAC game while the Pirates fell to 4-9 overall and 1-3 in the conference game. Centenary was back on his pitch for the first time in nearly a month and made the most of it, breaking the previous record of 20 three points in a game that had already occurred twice.
