The Arts and Humanities table of subjects uses the same reliable and rigorous performance indicators as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, but the methodology has been recalibrated to fit individual fields.

The ranking highlights the leading universities in the following disciplines: art, performing arts, design, languages, literature, linguistics, history, philosophy, theology, architecture and archeology.

This year’s table includes 606 universities, up from 565 last year.
